Outside improvements

We have been wanting to redo the retaining wall along the path to the house. But there were (and still are) always other priorities. 
Finally, thanks to the GREAT help of Kasahara-san and Sugimoto-san, our friends/neighbors, we could finish the project!

This wall is about 20m long (approx. 66')

Also worked on the approach to the gate.
The railroad ties adds a nice touch!
Kayo is going to plant flowers and shrubs and this area will (hopefully) look more cozy and welcoming in a couple of years as plants grow!
